Women and girls are particularly vulnerable to widening gender inequalities which can lead to greater risks and violations of their rights and can expose them to risks such as; sexual and gender-based violence, child marriages, forced marriages, abuse and exploitation, limited access to education, healthcare and employment; and cultural and social pressures on the value of a women; which can increase the likelihood to confinement at home with an uptake of domesticated responsibilities instead of pursuing a their desired goals. Since the COVID – 19 pandemic, young women and girls are at a greater risk to mental health challenges and the stigmas associated with mental health and wellbeing due to difficult living conditions, stigmas, discrimination, inaccessible or low-quality support and services.

It is a supported notion that a woman's emotional, physical, mental and economic empowerment, can improve positive self-image, high esteem and the confidence to live purposefully, pursue careers and passions, drive entrepreneurship and economic growth. This subsequently enables women and girls to build resources and skills to invest in themselves, their lifestyles, education, health, and wellbeing, which increases stability and resilience, and strengthens women’s decision- making power in their lives, homes, communities, and societies. It is vital that the Eunoia Foundation exists to advocate for young women and girls to help them overcome such barriers and inequalities by enabling and empowering the next generation of women and girls with the right foundation and skills to succeed.

We seek to support young women and girls to build self belief and confidence by empowering their minds, thinking patterns, and core values; in order to assist them to self advocate and live purposefully. Support Our Cause
